Cork Gallery Cleaning Procedures:

Thank you for taking care of the space and respecting its community nature. You may not know this, but there are people who live and own their space in the building. In fact, one resident is directly adjacent to the Gallery. We are therefore operating the Gallery as guests.

Here’s a list of important logistical and cleaning procedures we’d ask you follow. You are also welcome to pay a cleaning fee of $75 if you don’t feel like you can clean thoroughly as requested. (i.e., large event) Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, trash bags are provided for restocking in the Storage room.

Security
• If you have an event with over 25 people attending, we ask that you have someone downstairs letting people in the door.
• Please identify people before buzzing them into building
• Never leave the front door propped open with no one in attendance.
• You must be let into the building and the Cork Gallery by one of the Gallery Managers
General:
• Return the Gallery to the configuration and condition you found it in
• Make sure all lights, appliances, electronics are turned off.
• Lower heat to 55 degrees.
• Close all windows
• Remove all trash to dumpster, Replace bags
• Make sure all doors into the Cork Gallery are locked.
Cleaning: (supplies are in storage room)
• Wipe up any spills IMMEDIATELY!
• Wipe down all tables with a damp cloth and cleaning product
• Sweep the floors thoroughly as needed
• Mop (damp mop) any spills near food and drinks
• Ice must be kept in waterproof containers (coolers, etc.)
• Wash and dry any dishes or utensils used.
• Clean kitchen counter and floor.
• Make sure appliances are turned off
• Remove all food and drinks from refrigerator and freezer
• Sweep and mop bathroom floors
• Use paper towels to clean sink, mirror and toilet with cleaning product
• Leave 2 rolls toilet paper and 1 roll paper towels for next use
• Return all items to storage area location after using
